USDA, Ladies Choice

"The silence of the audience, the squeak of saddle leather and the thundering of hooves as the colors are presented...Yea! Let's Rodeo! Inspired by my memories of 30(some)years as a Fiesta de los Vaqueros rodeo fan in Tucson, AZ, "USDA" is my tribute to America, its freedom...and cowboys!!!!!!!" This 12"x16" acrylic on resin maquette was sold in 2006 and now resides permanently at the BOOTH WESTERN ART MUSEUM in Cartersville, GA (just north of Atlanta). In Lori's signature "Where's Waldo" style she has hidden one cowgirl amongst the cowboys on this horse figure. Can you find her? First hint...who usually presents the flag at the rodeo? (the Rodeo Queen) Second hint...Where would she be? (riding the horse) Third hint...what cowboy, in his right mind, would be wearing red jeans? Original painted maquettes like this can be commissioned for $3500 and up. Please contact Lori for a price.
