Lindley Stiles's last "part-fiction" story of a widowed womans' struggle to build a ranch in the four corners area of New Mexico during the 1930's. As per usual, Dr. Stiles has included a lil' piece of his families' history into this tale. Dr. Lindley passed away in 2008 soon after publishing this book...at the ripe young age of 94.
